A “camouflage” edition is added to the Contograf collection in 2015, with a striking aesthetic impact for those who favour a daring look and a winning outfit:

Eberhard Contograf Special Edition

The Contograf chronograph was the key model launched by the Swiss watchmaker in 2014, a re?edition of the 1960s classic which became an emblem of its time thanks to its innovative characteristics, in the pure style of a company which has always been ahead of its time. It retains many of the original features from the vintage model, but updated with a contemporary look and innovative details like the ceramic bezel with unidirectional rotation, the bracelet and the strap.

The Contograf Special Edition maintains the technical features of the original Contograf but represents an aesthetic evolution thanks to a fashion twist which gives it an intense look. A perennial trend in sophisticated wardrobes which has long been a source of inspiration among stylists and designers, camouflage is the mimetic style consisting of characteristic coloured shapes, typical of military uniforms designed to merge into the background during operations. Over time it has undergone a transformation, losing the aggressive spirit of its origins and becoming a fashionable style, one of the essential elements of clothing and accessories.

The new watch has two green counters and a trapezoidal date window at 6 o'clock, with a fast changing date. The ceramic bezel with unidirectional rotation ? available in dark green or black ? serves as a frame for the tachometer scale inspired by automotive design. The caseback is screwed?in and is engraved with the words "Special Edition".

The new edition comes with a strap in military green rep fabric, perfectly coordinating with the dark green bezel or the CHASSIS® steel bracelet which emphasizes the black bezel.

The reliability and precision which have made of Eberhard & Co. one of the points of reference for mechanical chronographs have now gained a more striking and sporting look, thanks to “Contograf Special Edition”.
