The silky smooth operation of the pushers on a columnwheel chronograph has seduced many an aficionado of fine complications and the technical sophistication of Rebellion’s high-end chronograph movement is complemented by the luxurious gold or high-tech titanium of its case.
Like fingerprints, the eye-catching patterns of each acidetched Earthcrust and Mooncrust dial are unique to each watch. White SuperLumiNova makes for strikingly legible hands, while the multi-strata dial, applied indices and rubber grips on the pushers and crown, bear testament to uncompromising attention to detail.
Indications : central coaxial hours, minutes and elapsed 60 seconds counter ; date displayed in a window at 1 o’clock ; elapsed 30 minute counter at 3 o’clock ; elapsed 12 hour counter at 6 o’clock and an eye-catching sub-seconds on a spinning wheel at 9 o’clock.
Turning the watch over reveals the exclusive Rebellion movement with its colour-coated solid gold rotor, decorated plates and bridges and the mesmerizing action of the column-wheel mechanism functioning when the chronograph pushers are operated.
