Only Watch organises for the 3rd year its great charity Gala: an auction of unique models created by 33 of the greatest watch brands.

Only Watch organises for the 3rd year its great charity Gala: an auction of unique models created by 33 of the greatest watch brands.The watches will exposed in a road show organised across key world capitals: Shangai, Geneva, London, New York and Milan. The auction will take place in Monte Carlo during the Monaco Yacht Show on September 24th 2009. Osvaldo Patrizzi, the world famous Expert watchmaker associated with the project from its beginnings, will run the auction with the support of Patrizzi & Co.

Bell & Ross supports the Only Watch project and its incredible fundraising efforts in the fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This year the brand will join forces with the Only Watch project and participate in this great endeavour to help children suffering from this disease. Our commitment to help has resulted in the design of this exclusive watch.

A unique version of the BR 01 Airborne.

The BR   01 Airborne in its original black carbon version is a watch inspired by a military symbol. It was developed to honour the outstanding soldiers who fought during World War II, particularly the paratroopers of the US Airborne divisions. The skull was one of the emblems they wore on their uniforms. The BR   01 Airborne represents the attitude of these courageous men in the face of all the dangers they affronted daily.

For the Only Watch project, Bell & Ross created a new model, a unique piece, BR 01 Airborne ONE, specially set with black and white diamonds.

The subtle black diamonds covering the case are contrasted with the glittering white diamonds on the dial resulting in a fantastic display of artistry. With the fusion of materials, techniques and play on light, the military symbol flirts with high fashion jewellery to give an exceptional result.

Bell & Ross chose this model as a strong symbol to represent the risks, courage, and iron will that people with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy face every day…
