As a partner of the most prestigious equestrian events in the world, Longines is proud to support the Hampton Classic Horse Show, one of the greatest show jumping competitions in the United States. This world class equestrian event attaches great importance to values cherished by the Swiss watch brand, namely tradition, performance and elegance. As a tribute to its long-lasting involvement in equestrian sports, the famous Swiss watchmaker was keen to launch the Conquest Classic line, a collection of timepieces dedicated to horse lovers. True to the brand’s values of elegance, tradition and performance, this collection of models, all fitted with self-winding calibers, is at the same time totally contemporary and perfectly timeless. The Official Watch of the Hampton Classic Horse Show 2014 is a ladies' watch in steel with a diameter of 29.50 mm. Set with 30 diamonds, this magnificent timepiece with its white mother-of-pearl dial and diamond hour symbols perfectly illustrates the elegance of this unique show jumping event.

Longines’ passion for equestrian sport dates back to 1878, when it produced a chronograph engraved with a jockey and his mount. Seen on the racetracks as early as 1881 and extremely popular among jockeys and horse-lovers, this model enabled its user to time performances to the seconds. It was already being used by most sport judges in New York in 1886. In addition, the brand partnered for the first time with an international show jumping event in 1912. Today, Longines’ involvement in equestrian sports includes besides show-jumping flat racing and endurance competitions.
