GRAHAM Chronofighter Oversize Superlight GT Asia

Limited edition of 88

Official Timekeeper of GT Asia Series

Striking and wild, the limited edition of 88 pieces, developed for racing-car drivers and watch making connoisseurs, captures your gaze and exudes adrenaline.

Launched at the Macau GP weekend from November 14th to 16th, the racing chronograph will surprise you with its vivid colours combined with advanced materials.

The limited edition Chronofighter Oversize Superlight GT Asia is devoted to speed, adrenaline and advanced technology. The start and stop lever on the left of the case, a renowned GRAHAM signature, is made of plain carbon and results from a very specific machining process. This means that the lever is a unique piece of carbon which provides the watch with more stiffness and enhanced usability. The black ceramic bezel gives the watch its strength and shining personality.

Enhanced with a lightweight black carbon nanotube composite case, the highly shock absorbing watch weighs less than 100g.

The new Superlight chronograph facilitates the measurement of an average speed thanks to a tachymeter scale and a reversed minute’s counter with a white painted indicator to show the starting point. The function emphasizes intuitive and immediate reading. The integrated white rubber strap with “Clous de Paris” decoration brings the final touch of punch to move forward through racing conditions. The watch is delivered with a black fabric strap and black stitches.

Main features also include:

47 mm Superlight black carbon nanotube composite case. Calibre G1747, automatic self-winding chronograph, 25 jewels, 28’800 A/h (4Hz), Incabloc shock absorber, 48 hours power reserve, tachymeter scale with neon orange graduation, domed sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating on both faces, smoked sapphire crystal case back with GT Asia, orange superlight inscription and limited edition serial number, integrated white rubber strap with “Clous de Paris” decoration. GRAHAM traces its origins to London clockmaker George Graham (1673-1751) who is considered as the father of modern watch making. He is known as the father of the chronograph as he invented the start and stop device of the chronograph. And the dead-beat and cylinder escapement, the mercury pendulum to compensate the influence of temperature on pendulums, to name a few. He also built the master clock for Greenwich Royal Observatory which timed most of the 18th century and lots of science instruments for astronomers and physicists. GRAHAM was revived in 1995 and is today a privately owned Swiss watch company. GRAHAM SA creates and manufactures its watches in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
