Marcello Lippi – "Il Mister" – pays Hublot a visit

Playing in the "Serie A" from 1969 to 1982, Marcello Lippi – whose Italian nickname is "Il Mister" (the English gentleman) – has one of the most impressive records of success as a coach: three Championship wins, two Italian Super Cups and one Champions League win with Turin-based club Juventus, as well as leading the Italian national side to victory in the 2006 World Cup! Having managed the Italian national side from 2004 to 2006, then again from 2008 to 2010, he joined the ambitious Chinese club, Guangzhou Evergrande, in 2012 (for which Hublot is the Official Timekeeper) and went on to win the Chinese Championship in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Today, he is visiting Hublot as a brand ambassador and friend of Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman of Hublot and President of the LVMH Group's Watch Division, and Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot. This was the first time that Marcello Lippi had been able to admire the work of watchmakers and understand the steps involved in creating a watch, in particular the Big Bang Unico Chrono football retrograde – the watch dedicated to football. It was a relaxed visit and spirits were high amongst the Hublot team.

Don't forget that Lippi also took part in last year's "Hublot Loves Football" campaign to celebrate the FIFA World Cup in Brazil; this was an exceptional series of 16 portrait photos and an artistic portrayal of the friends of Hublot, highlighting the personalities of individuals or groups in the world of football.
