The dial is more of a white I would say than silver. I am not sure what the term "silvered" means. It is clearly not a silver dial. The blue index markers appear black unless the sun hits the dial or you turn it slightly to reflect the blue color. I also noticed that the dial is "stamped" including the hour markers it appears; so they are not really "applied." It appears that they are then painted or screened somehow with the blue color.
All in all it's a beautiful, crisp and elegant piece and I wore it out tonight (right away!) and had time taking my eyes off of it. Well, we watch people are a bit crazy, yes? But we love it, right?
